This wine has a big nose with main flavours hint of cassis, black pepper, red and black fruit and smoky cedar supported by chewy ripe tannins. This elegant, fruity and sophisticated wine has a well-rounded mouthfeel and a lovely long lingering finish. Opening up nicely with decanting, you may enjoy now or cellar for up to five years.

Syrah pairs beautifully with food- think barbequed and smoked meats, pasta Bolognese, Turkish lamb, pork tenderloin and dishes featuring lots of black pepper.
