A MASTERCLASS IN CHABLIS
The Gautheron family hold a 14.5 hectare estate located about 4km from the town of Chablis in the petit village of Fleys. Alain took over from his father in the early 90s as the sixth generation vigneron and is now joined by his son, Cyril, who is helping to bring their wines into the modern era.
Grown on the Grand Cru site of Bougros, a vineyard with a sun-drenched aspect giving refined power and elegant length to the Chardonnay produced there. A generously flavoured wine with stone fruits and ripe pears that tightens with crystalline minerality.
