Secret Vines Chardonnay grapes are grown in the Cotes de Gascogne region of France and crafted by Master Winemaker Nadine Raymond. The region provides exceptional terroir for a Chardonnay with lime and claystone soil, with hot summer and cool nights. The vines are harvested at full maturity at the end of summer and are fermented at low temperatures before a short stay in oak wood barrels. The nose is intense and filled with aromas of pineapple and melon with subtle notes of roasted coffee. The mouthfeel is multilayered with notes of ripe white fruits with a touch of vanilla. Long, fresh balanced ending. We recommend pairing with shellfish or chicken, particularly with a spicy sauce.
