At first sight, Callia Blend Malbec draws the drinker in with an intense red color with violet flashes. Upon first sip, it becomes abundantly clear as to why this blend of terroir specific Malbecs is so unique- the intensity and exoticism of Malbec from the Zonda Valley paired beautifully with (but never overwhelming) with the fruitiness and freshness of Malbec from the Tulum valley. Delicious aromas of red fruits, plummy jam, vanilla and chocolate fill out the profile. In the mouth it is persistent with sweet and firm tannins and a silky finish. A true star from the San Juan Valley appellation.
