FRESH TEMPRANILLO FROM THE HILLS OF RIOJA

Bodegas Badiola aims to bottle some of the most distinctive terroirs in the Rioja Alavesa. Since its recent beginnings in 2018, Badiola has quickly cemented themselves as a label focussed on wines that speak of place. They manage 300 parcels across the heart of Rioja Alavesa with most vines averaging 50 years in age. Their wines have an elegance and lovely acidity that is not always found in wines from this region. The low-yielding Tempranillo grapes grow on elevated, limestone soils or Laderas translating to hillside, offering a cool climate and concentrated expression of spice and sophistication.
