This fabulously juicy cuvee highlights the unusual and almost forgotten Segalin variety, harvested early and vinifed like a rose, with 30% Malbec too that would usually go in to Les Polissons, making it the most deliciously crunchy, fresh and fruity red. A little bit glou glou, a little bit flirty, and certainly not short on flavour or colour, and totally delish! Best served lightly chilled.

Located in the western corner of Cahors in the village of Lacapelle-Cabanac, third generation winemaker Benoit Aymard took over the reins of his small and slightlydilapidatedfamily domaine in 2014.He enjoys drinking Gamay and Loire reds, and it’s this freshness and drinkability that guides his decisions at harvest and in the cellar. Thus, Benoit focuses on emphasising the beautiful fruit that Malbec can offer and moving away from the more austere or over extracted style Cahors and the grapeis known for.
