Lovely perfume here on this exotic Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris blend. Produced with carbonic maceration, it’s a gentle soft orange, with lovely candied orange, papaya, sultanas and refreshing sour cherry note. Lovely spice and length. Drink with glazed duck breast, honey roast ham or spicy pork. No added SO2.

Vignoble de Reveur is a joint project between Mathieu Deiss of the celebrated Alsace winemaking family and his partner, Emmanuelle Milan, daughter of Henri Milan. Mathieu farms his grandfather’s 7.5ha of vineyard parcels, mostly in the commune of Bennwihr, using biodynamic methods. With the occasional foray into skin contact, he prefers, where possible, to use no sulphur at all in the winemaking process. Brilliant, vivid wines, with such energy.
