The Tern GSD has set the bench mark for long tail cargo bikes for the past couple of years and Tern are not looking to rest on their laurels. Starting off with the updated Bosch Smart System this allows Tern to have the freedom for some cool improvements. Bosch ABS front brakes come as standard to drastically improve stopping distance and saftey. Bosch’s connect moduel can be installed into the motor to provide GPS tracking for the bike. Finally with Smart System bikes the 545Wh PowerPack battery gives greater range, with the option of dual batteries possible with a spare battery cradle already installed on the bike.

Carrying capacity is another factor that Tern wanted to improve on with all of their Gen 3 frames. Now with a removable Atlas G rack, the rear carrying capacity is increased to 100kg for a total max payload of 210kg on the bike.

Favourite features return from previous models as well. The Magura 4 piston hydraulic brakes give more than enough stopping power. A lockable kickstand allows you to load and unload the bike with piece of mind and the easily adjustable Tern Andros stem helps in allowing riders from 150 – 200cm to ride this bike comfortably
