Pod Star is the creative child ofSydney-sider couple,Mark (The Pod) and Kirsten (The Star), an Australian and a New Zealander who are passionate about the environment, living people and animals, design, and coffee! Their mission is toadd value, give people freedom, and help the environment. Pod Star was born from a love of coffee.Mark and Kirstenhad a Nespresso machine intheir office and wanted the choice to use their favourite coffee. “We were alarmed to learn of the waste associated with single-use pods, and this drove us to find a solution”.

They use padded envelopes made from recycled newspapers to packtheir orders, their courier is carbon neutral andtheir packaging has no laminate so can be recycled. Their small business is founded upon the premise of making a difference to the ecological impact of waste.
